Help: FAQ
1. How long will it take for me to get my results from Debt Logistics?
The length of time needed is dependent on many factors such as internet connection and hardware configurations. But it is also dependent on how quickly you learn and retain the information in the Education Wizard. Length of time can also depend on how many credit card accounts and sub-accounts will need to be entered. Please don’t lose patience though; your financial peace is worth a few minutes of your time!
2. How long will it take for me to complete the strategy Debt Logistics provides?
Your personal roadmap includes a column indicating how many years and months we estimate it will take to complete the course we provide. This figure may vary greatly depending on the strategies you choose and how much money you are able to commit to meet your goals.
3. Is the information I submit through this Web site secure?
The site is SSL encrypted. Debt Logistics does not request you to enter personal information that could be used by a third party.
4. How do you determine which creditor I should pay first?
We determine the best accounts for you to pay off first based on several factors including interest rate. We will determine where to apply available funds so that you incur the least amount of Finance Charges. The less you are paying in Finance Charges, the more your balances will be reduced.
5. Will using this service help improve my credit?
Balances that are close to their respective credit limits can negatively affect your credit. Reducing these balances can improve your credit.
6. Why are we using a separate holding account (checking) rather than just transferring directly from one card to another?
The separate holding account enables you to transfer a larger amount and incur one transfer fee, instead of transferring multiple small amounts and incurring multiple transfer fees.
7. Will my creditors know I am using this service?
No. This site is designed to be a tool to assist you in paying your accounts in the most cost efficient way possible. Your creditors will only know you are using the service if you tell them.
8. Why is my balance on my account different than the amount Debt Logistics calculated?
Debt Logistics calculates an estimated amount to be paid based on the balance and available payment information you have provided. You must contact the credit card company to verify any exact dollar amounts.
9. I am always receiving checks from my credit card companies. If I use these checks, is it considered a Purchase, Cash Advance, or Balance Transfer?
Credit card companies have different offers for the checks that are sent. If it is not clear which sub-account the check(s) amounts will be added to, contact a Customer Support Representative at the credit card company.
